The Founder

Dr. K.C. Varghese was born and raised in a Christian home in Kerala, India. He accepted the Lord in 1968 and later received the call of God to go into full-time ministry. After completing his undergraduate and graduate studies in India, he was involved in teaching the word of God and preaching the gospel in various parts of India.

Upon coming to the United States, Dr. Varghese enrolled in Princeton Theological Seminary where he completed his Th.M. He then went on to finish his M.A. in missiology and Ph.D. in historical theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and Trinity International University respectively.

K.C had a burning zeal to reach the people of India with the gospel of Jesus Christ. After finishing his doctoral studies, he went back to India and founded Kerala Theological Seminary with the vision of training pastors in India to preach the gospel and plant churches.

His wife Sally was also raised in Kerala, India. Prinston, Paulson and Johnson are their three sons. K.C and his wife Sally founded AIM International in 2001.
